Suggested Ages: 6-12

Materials Needed:

  • Small household objects that won’t get damaged outside
  • Markers
  • Paper

 

 

Treasure Hunt

  1. Choose a few objects from around the house that won’t get damaged outside.
  2. Hide objects around the backyard. Be sure to write down where you hide them.
  3. Use your paper and markers and draw a map of the backyard, and place an X in the spot of your treasures!
  4. Hide the treasure map inside the house or in the front yard. Take another piece of paper and make clues to help the treasure hunters find the map.

 

Tips:

  • To make the game more challenging, get other kids and houses involved.
  • Hide clues in spots to lead to the next treasure.
