The Harlem Globetrotters are now in their 84th consecutive season of touring the world. The Globetrotters have played in 120 countries on six continents, entertaining over 130 million fans and crossing barriers between cultures, societies and people from all walks of life. The great entertainers, also known as the Ambassadors of Goodwill, are committed to sharing a message in support of physical activity to promote healthy minds and bodies. “Now more than ever, kids need to be active every single day so they can lead healthy lives and the Globetrotters are doing our part,” says Globetrotter Showman Big Easy Lofton. The Harlem Globetrotters visit hundreds of schools each year with the team’s ‘C.H.E.E.R. Challenge’ program. The interactive character education program focuses on the following character traits; Cooperation, Healthy Mind & Body, Effort, Enthusiasm and Responsibility. |
